Amy is a computer industry analyst who specializes in the commercialization of new technology. She has been observing, writing about, and commenting on the information technology industry for more than 30 years.
Her current specialties include SaaS, Cloud Computing, SOA, and the commercialization of new technologies. Her clients are software companies whom she assists with projects in new technologies, new concepts, and new products. She writes for both her clients and her own blogs and books.
In 2008, Mrs. Wohl published a book on SaaS and Cloud Computing.
She is also an avid reader, an herb gardener, and the property of two new cats.
In her other life, Wohl is a passionate foodie. A self-trained chef, she can cook in nearly any cuisine, but the house favorite is northern Italian. She has travelled all over the world, checking out restaurants and food markets everywhere, and returning home with strange bottles, unusual dishes and utensils, and too many cookbooks.
With more than 4,000 books in her culinary library, there's plenty to pick from in designing her next menu. Her favorite pastime is planning and executing a special theme dinner for friends. Over the years they have included Indian banquets, New Orleans decadence, a Russian Republics tour, and every kind of French and Italian cuisine imagineable.
With luck, her lives sometimes converge and she can entertain her industry friends with a gourmet meal.

Weblogs, new technology, gourmet food (eating it, reading about it, and cooking it), travel, reading.
